Bob Junior, known as ‘king of Serengeti’ killed by rivals

In Tanzania, there is a story of a dominant male lion, known as Bob Junior, who lived in the Serengeti National Park and was killed by three younger male lions.

Serengeti Park officials say that King Bob Junior was killed in a fight with three younger lions who were challenging his dominance in the pride.

Serengeti Park Director, Fredy Shirima, announced that the fight took place on March 11, 2023.

Bob Junior, named so because he was the son of a lion called Bob Marley, was mauled to death Saturday.
